Beth's happy day

When I was little, my mom gave me this book one year for my birthday. It's the sweetest book about sharing your birthday with people around you and being nice to people. And I remember there was an adorable kitten in the book too.

So, in honor of my birthday, I'm sharing my day with an adorable two year old. He is actually feeling better today and has eaten half of a pancake so far. He's snuggling next to me and points for me to sit down if I get up to get something.

Maggie gave me a card and my dad called me and Steven tried to take me to breakfast. We had to improvise on the breakfast a little, but so far, it's a happy day

I have loved this book since I was a little girl. My Mom would read it to my sister and I on our birthday's. We have always asked each other "do you have your rock?" on our birthdays. We have even found "special rocks" painted or lazer etched to give each other through the years. Our original copy got lost a while back, but I purchased two (one for Mom and one for me). We started the tradition again recently at family gatherings (Mom's birthday was just last week, Feb 26th and mine is March 8th. I look forward to hearing the story again! Thanks for sharing!!
